Nudist webcomics - a list
For anyone who's a fan of comics, webcomics, or comic strips but has always found them lacking in nudists, I present to you The List.
Obviously No.1 is Loxie and Zoot.
It follows the adventures of the title characters who own an australian nudist resort. They deal with jewel thieves, politicians, their public image, and difficult relatives all while while being good fun.
The sequel, the Bare Pit, is no longer available online at this time but it was pretty good too.
NB Some of the links will send back site warnings. I guarantee you the sites are safe, it's probably just because of the nudity. If you don't trust my links, a five second google search will take you to their sites sans warnings. Or you can find them on a webcomics hosting site like comic-rocket.com
At No.2 we have an adaptation of Edgar Rice Buroughs' 'A Princess of Mars'.
This is the only adaptation of the original material I've ever come across that has stayed loyal to the original's nudist roots. It follows a confederate soldier who is inexplicably transported to Mars sans clothes where the change in gravity gives him super human strength. This was the original sci-fi pulp that inspired the likes of Flash Gordon and Star Wars and is being lovingly recreated in the visual medium by a very tallented artist.
At No.3 we have Rogues of Clwyd Rhan.
In medieval Europe, a washed up drunken barbarian, a warrior woman, a gnome, and a witch eek put a living as bandits. They're aweful at it.
The focus of the series isnt nudist but there are plenty of nudist characters with witches going skyclad at festivals and faeries making political statements by the kinds of hats they do or do not wear.
It also has two spin-offs. Abui's Travels follows one of the above faeries as she jumps around dimensions. The other, Spun Off, is set in the same world and casually sexualized to make a point about how the other two aren't sexula at all.
Ok, so coming in at No.4 is a favourite of mine, The Meek.
It is setting up to be a sprawling saga set across a fntasy world of spiritualism and industry. There are multiple characters with their own seemingly independent stroies to follow but all leading towards . . . something. It's not even close to finished yet but it is engrosing. There is only one naturist in the story but they are the protagonist.
No. 5 on The List could be argued as not nudist but it is too wonderful not to be on the list.
Go Get a Roomie follows Roomie, a sex positive, nudist, hippy (yes, you can be both) who accidentally befriends an asexual sleep enthusiast. Together they explore eachothers worlds and the entire realm of spectrum of sexualities in it's suporting cast. One could argue it's an unorthodox romantic comedy.
The nudity is presented positively while the sex is usually more discussed than displayed. The author does have an actual erotic spin-off staring some rarely see characters but this, like with ROCR and Spun Off really serves more to show how unerotic the original comic is.
For No.6 we have Kaza and Gwenna which is basically just a pulp series in the vein of 'what if Tarzan and Jane lived in the jungle in the twenty first century, unapolagetically naked and occasionally crossing paths with aliens and super heroes?'.
