Well, there was definitely "fire and brimstone" to be endured, given the extreme wildfire situation occurring at that time.
Sadly, there have been "cats living with dogs" for quite some time now, not only in OR, but across the country. But that is a subject better dealt with by sociologists and veterinarians.
And there was "mass hysteria" occurring as well in Oregon at that time, but more likely caused by Trump than by the eclipse, and was a pre-existing condition.
Overall, outside of the gas and porta-potty shortages, by most reports it sounds like Eclipse2017 was a "stellar" success, and good memories made.
