Textile attitudes
Here is my story and it has nothing to do with someone that I would believe is a nudist. This woman's clothing announced the person she was before I saw her in a training class I was recently in. She was not leading the class, just a participant. She wore a dress more like a power suit a guy would wear. Her hair was done up like she was in a wedding party. Not like I am used to seeing in a business casual dress code for the class. Before the class started she was very pushy and seemed to let everyone know she was better. During the class she involved herself with injecting her opinions into the course instruction. I found out later that she was no different than anyone else in the class.
Later many of us went out to eat and then hung out at the small bar in the hotel. The same woman was now dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. She acted so differently. Much more demure. Almost mousey. The next day was the same in class. I just wondered how she would act in class without her power suit.
Now I know this would not be a naked situation. But the difference in how she acted based on her dress, how would she act in a nude social ?
Hmm ... I/we have actually witnessed the opposite! While visiting a nude resort and meeting some really great people, we never they would be different once they put clothes on but ... they were! While all of us were naked, they acted just like any of us. We all decided to go to a fancy steak house for dinner. Being it was Palm Springs, dress code for the restaurant was still a little casual but not old shorts and t shirt and flip flops casual.
I wore some nice shorts, a Tommy Bahama camp shirt and slip on shoes. My wife wore a long sundress and sandals. Our friends dressed the same but this other couple were dressed up. He was in slacks, white shirt and a jacket! ... no tie and dress shoes. She was in a dress, nylons, high heels and matching jewelry from fingers to neck. That was fine but they were dressed in business attire and their attitude changed to all business. Drinking and cutting up poolside but no drinks, no fun , no laughter at dinner. We thought maybe they'd had a argument or something but after the 3rd dinner out that week and the same attitude ... clothes made them a little strange! That's was it for that couple and our group!
