It was good to miss Burwell, the sand and wind supplied dermabrasion. The day was definitely more cloud than sun and the water was very high compared to 2 weeks prior.
Hanlan's was packed on Sunday, blanket to blanket. The beach is much narrower than it was. Portions of the clothing beach have a pond in the center still. Then far end where the guys usually where is part of the lake. We didn't venture further to walk into the dunes.
