A sign posted is a good idea.I also make a joke about nudity. Something like, "Hey, didn't I see you at the nude beach recently?" Their reply will give you an indication as to their feelings.

I know what the reaction would be if we did that. We're already on the edge of the village. I think they'd move the border to just inside our property :D

That's a great idea for at home. These type of signs are certainly common at nude beaches to forewarn people who may not want to be exposed to nudity.
