How important is nudism for you on vacation?
A question to all: Do you plan your vacation so, that you can the hole time / most time nude or are other things more important?
We make every year the summer holiday in a nudist area, so we can be nude for 2 or 3 weeks. In Summer this is important for us.
And you?
We do a nude cruise in February and long weekend trips to nude resorts in June (Sunny Rest Resort or Club Orient) and October (Cypress Cove) for our birthdays most years, so I'd say those vacation are planned for maximum nude time! In September we usually do a regular cruise or other vacation for our anniversary where other things are more important than nude time. Not to say we don't still find time to be nude. This year our September cruise is in the Greek Isles, so a trip to the Faliraki FKK Beach in Rhodes is in the plans and next year our September cruise is to the Eastern Caribbean, so a trip to Orient Beach in St. Martin is in the plans.
If we are sunbathing we always prefer to be nude. We always book somewhere that has facilities for this. Ideally we like to go to a naturist resort but it depends on where in the world we are going for our holidays. So in answer to the question it does play a big part in our choice of location for our holidays.
When we have been to naturist resorts it is a great feeling to not have to worry about putting on clothes when you get up.
Each vacation we take encompasses nudism/nudity/social nudism to some degree. Even our "nude vacations" include some clothed time. We don't go on nude vacations and stay nude, just to be nude. If there are points of interest nearby where we are nude vacationing, we will don clothing, if necessary, and go check those places out.
On every "textile" vacation, there is always nudism involved. I've gotten very good at requesting certain rooms, floor levels and telling the front desk that we prefer balconies that are more private. Most times the front desk is able to accommodate. I always search for nude/clothing optional opportunities in the area that we are visiting and if they are available, we'll visit for the day or at least a few hours.
We are new to this as well. We are planning a nakation this summer at Hidden Beach and we are starting to see where we can go nude other places as we travel. We just got off a cruise the first week of this month and we had planned on spending quite a big of nude time on our balcony. Unfortunately, it was one of the few balconies on the ship that was open above, but we still spent some nude evenings out there, just not as much as we would have liked (and no, I didn't pick the cabin, it was assigned to us.)
As we move forward in our nude journey, we will find more and varied places to go nude.
For us it is a bit of a compromise. me (Pete) being the devoted nudist would always want vacations to be around other naked people. The wife however would be happy at a non nude venue. Though she is an avid social nudist she likes to split up the nakations with the texcations. Like my new word?
My brain isn't wired anymore to intentionally not incorporate nude destinations or activity for a vaca.
I would be disappointed to do a straight textile vaca. I have passed up an opportunity a time or two as I had zero interest in the textile trip. My wife would not bat an eye to do a textile trip. Good thing I am usually the one that does the planning! :D
For me nudism is important. I have several holidays each year and chose them so that I can be comfortably naked. The UK weather is often uncomfortably cold. So I head for the sun. My ideal is naked 24/7 for the full holiday week. It isn't always possible.
