I use a Phillps Bodygroom, so there's no chance of getting nicked. It does not hurt at all.
I find that it's actually more comfortable to wipe myself. I have no so fond memories of more-or-less tugging at the hair in an attempt to get clean.

RE:Smooth Hole?Yea, as another guy mentioned, if you want the hair gone, get the Phillips Bodygroom. It gives you that shaven feel with way less irritation. Way cleaner feeling and the girl likes it more that way too!
