Ask me for a picture... Why?

Okay, bearing in mind that this is a photographers' forum, I see that a lot of men have no profile picture.

Seems a bit hypocritical to me. I can only assume that they're married men whose wives don't know that they are here. In other words not "true" nudists. so guys I'm asking please put up a photo.

What's the consensus?
Should we restrict membership to those with a profile photo (which is my suggestion) or can the anonymous members make a case for remaining in the group?

Oh, I must apologise, I deleted a no-picture member by accident whilst preparing this thread. Sorry, but in my defense, if you'd had a picture it wouldn't have happened!

Good points. In view of that, would you agree that a nude photo is not essential but some sort of pic is?

Nice photos BTW, how did you get to post them?

I don't understand why someone couldn't just supply at least one picture. The profile picture isn't required to be a nude one.

true nudist is a nudist site and therefore we display ourselves in the nude on here( no textile) got it?

Right so, but in many instances, when you're single and there is no body to take a picture, your "mobile"pictures are not downloadable to your computer. due to not compatible, one needs to get out of his or her way to present it. Not easy for some of us and the know how and understanding of equipment is another factor. We cannot condemn, but try to be of assistance and help to be equal.

I share your frustration about people not having any profile picture, but I take some issue with your insistence because my job could be adversely effected if nude photos of me started showing up on the internet.
I am not ashamed of being a nudist, I enjoy it, but it's a private thing for me and not something I announce loudly to co-workers and clients. While I'd like to think a photo posted here would be totally private and never find its way back to haunt me, I know anything posted online is out there and out there forever, and could actually make it before the eyes of someone who'd use it to make trouble.
I teach in public schools and at state universities. College students are notrious for finding things online and then reposting them. I've seen it happen.
I feel I really CAN'T post nudes of myself. My job is more important than this recreation and I don't trust that "no one here would be a problem."
Sorry.
So, in short, to answer your question, no, I don't think you should require a photo.
I DO WISH, however, more people WOULD post photos, or at least examples of their work as photographers. But I'd stop short of making it a requirement.
