Gran Canaria - Wish I'd gone with someone
I've just returned from Playa del Ingles, Gran Canaria. Wonderful place - a gay naturist's paradise on the Maspalomas Dunes and beach. I'd love to go back. Except that I went on my own and, because I'm not at all confident when it comes to approaching people to talk to, I spent all my time on my own; and I felt quite lonely much of the time. I wish I'd put a request on here for a holiday companion before I booked. I made the same mistake when I went to Cap d'Agde.
Sorry to hear you were on your own all the time (know what that's like), you might like to check out nakedmates online as they organise holidays in Gran Canaria twice a year so you'd be with lots of other single guys and it would be easier to make friends.

Thanks for your response to my comment. I actually was a member of Naked Mates , but have lost touch. I went to one of their events in Norfolk a couple of years or so ago - a camping weekend, which was very enjoyable. I might look into rejoining and going to Gran Canaria or somewhere with them. Thank you for the tip.
