The highlands are a beautiful place, as are many other parts of Scotland. Some time back we hiked nude a few times in the Trossachs, with care, we'd heard about nude hikers getting into a bit more trouble than they might south of the border. Its good to know that you have this place where wvisitors can relax naked year round, nude new year celebrations are a great way to see in the year. The only issues with being naked in your wonderful country is the outdoor nude season is a bit shorter than here and those damn midges love bare skin.

This to some extent was because some of the nudist hikers were out to cause bother. The only issues with being naked in your wonderful country is the outdoor nude season is a bit shorter than here and those damn midges love bare skin.
Where the rest of the country have UL level warnings as part of the weather forecast, up there they have midge level warnings.
It's not just the midges, but also horse flies. A few years ago I had to actually flick these flies off Mar's legs and she ended up with severe leg infections. Not pleasant.
Also ticks are a problem.
Regarding, the midges, the best solution we've discovered is Avon Skin-so-soft spray. Works wonders even in
Glenfinnen which is the midge capital of the world
