There is just something about the blend of fabrics (some wool in good suits), that just isn't conducive to no underwear. Definitely no sleepwear. Sleeping in something is simply the sleep of the damned for me. Although when I did wear something to sleep (too many years ago to remember now), it was underwear (how ironic). I have about a weeks supply of clothes, i.e. a couple pairs of shorts, jeans, t-shirts, and shirts. Just about the amount I would need to take a trip that isn't clothing optional. Those trips do happen, although, wherever I am staying, I still sleep nude. I used to take something to sleep in, but now I just don't care.I believe that underwear is the most common choice of sleepwear for US males who wear anything in bed is underwear.

When I am sharing room with someone other than my wife, I wear gym shorts. There were a few times before I was a full time nude sleeper that I took a trip with my wife and brought something to sleep in but it stayed in the suitcase for the entire trip!
