waterfall hike
I do this waterfall hike several times a year usually, has a number of them along one section of it, and one more toward the end. Did it yesterday, probably the last time this season. From our church over on the main 4 lane highway back home through the woods. It's about 5 miles I guess. I have to leave dressed of course. But this time it being pretty cool I was wearing sweat pants with a draw string underneath the surface layer. When I escaped from view I took everything off, tied the legs of the sweat pants in a knot, put everything else in the top and pulled up the drawstring, it made a perfect sack to easily carry it all. At first I thought it might be a little cool, but once I got going it was just perfect, keep exercising and the circulation keeps moving and I actually got warm enough to perspire just a little. At least 2 hours, 2.5 maybe, since some of the track is slow going, picking a way through the briars. I heard a 4 wheeler once and stepped off the road to hide, but it turned off and went the way I was heading, so I followed it's tracks out until it went toward the public road and I went off through the woods again.
Sounds like a nice place to hike close to home. There are a few waterfalls where I hike. I have to drive 45 min to an hour to state or federal public lands to hike nude but its worth the drive. Post some pics of the waterfalls. Be nice to see them.
