Movement of your photos on groups and at friends

Does anyone know what is behind the movement of your photos here??? If you look, quite often, your photos are moved to a different location. Sometimes higher and sometimes lower.
Concerning your friends, I understand why you're moved to the top, when you're online, but how is it determined where your photo is located at other times??

It appears the order in your "friends" is the reverse of who was last on-line.
As to those in your own "gallery" there seems to be no real theories on that. It appears random.

The powers that be at TN must have some sort of reason for doing this. No matter if you posted or not, you're moved around.

I find it a bit offputting too. Some of my photos I wanted to be in a kind of order, but they arn't. I have foundmy friends and photos stay in the same place when I go into "Edit my...". It is usefull for seeing the most recent ones.
