Cool Temps
I am pretty much a die hard nudie and I have a shaved head (been shaving for about a year now). The pattern of my hair that was left, just annoyed me, so shaved looks better and feels cleaner. However, my head sure gets cold - especially waking up to -6 F this morning. I keep my home warm enough to remain nude, but my head does get chilled and you lose so much heat through it. I wear skull caps inside. Curious if others find the same and what they wear to keep their heads warm.
Also curious what others use to moisturize their shaved scalps. I stumbled onto a product called Bee Bald that is bee pollen based. It's amazing to clear up any nicks or imperfections and has like a matte finish which doesn't make my scalp shiny.
truly agree with the cold noggin. knit caps do wonders. I've been shaved up there for a little over 20 years - yeah, before it was so "in" to do so. and for moisturizing - definitely - every day. initially I did so because there was sun screen in the lotion I was using, but now (out of habit) I still do it daily.
Amen to knit caps this time of year! Moisturizer and sunscreen are indeed our friends! I have found a great line of products for my shaved head - Bee Bald. Google it and you will find they have some great stuff!
