Corralejo now :)
I've just returned from my 4th stay at the Gran Hotel Natura. You can't get closer to the beach, 'cos the gate from the Pool Bar leads straight onto it. No need to get dressed at all. I was disappointed this time with the food in the restaurant. It was all cold; even the dishes that weren't supposed to be. Best to go with company, as there isn't really a lot of socialising in the evening.
I've just had my 4th Stay at the Gran hotel Natura. Unfortunately the weather was cloudy and I was ill this time. But I would always recommend it. The pool and pool bar are active during the day and good for lunch. A door leads direct to the Corralejo Dunes - a sandy nudist beach stretching for miles south from the hotel. Don't be surprised if you are the only nudists within sight. Many will be sheltering on the stone circles and more congregate around the 14 km mark well south of the town. The restaurant can be disappointing but you can eat out. The hotel is on the edge of Corralejo which has a vast choice of cafes, restaurants and bars. The rooms also provide for a degree of self catering. British Naturism are holding a week's holiday there at the end of the month. We always hire a car so we can explore the island.
