Door's Up?
If I am home, I'm likely nude. After 30+ years as a nudist, I am not overtly aware if I have clothes on or not. My garage story . . . after running some errands, I pulled my car in the garage and for whatever didn't put the door down. I had purchases in the car, but left them to be carried in later. I continued into the house and dumped the clothes as I normally would and went about my business. Later, I thought, I should carry in the stuff from the car. I went into the garage and carried in my first load, back down for the second, and somewhere mid-stream - I realize yup the door is up! LOL! This happened in the Summer, so I know being a warm day people were around and out. I never thought a thing about it, the door being open and well . . . It's so funny how when nude is your normal attire - you really do NOT think about it! ;-) I'm more conscious (and uncomfortable!) when I am wearing clothes. Others forget the door was up or have the door go up by surprise?
I have had to do an about face a few times when retrieving something from the car. I debated about making a mad dash for it as I stood at the pedestrian door. But I don't have a situation where I want to take the chance of being seen from the street. Yes, it is so easy to forget you are naked when you are so used to it.
I don't have a garage but frequently have those same feelings. I'm almost always naked at home, and sometimes as I leave home and am walking down the sidewalk I do a quick inventory check: shirt, pants, whew, OK!
I do all that too - some times. I just don't think about it! Glad I am in good company.
Yep, quite often go out to the car in the summer nude with the doors up to retrieve something. Fortunately the garage opens to the rear so only two homes overlook our backyard/garage. Summer growth of greenery means the neighbors would need to be close to the property line to see through into my yard. That's always a possibility, but if they peek I suppose its on them.
My clothes come off as well...as soon as I am inside! My beer fridge is in the garage...lol...many times I have "forgotten" the door was up and just stolen out into the garage to get a beverage! Life in a cul de sac can be great with limited traffic! But we do get several walkers!
Doors up didnt really care! Was working on making parts for my motorcycle, mid-day, doors up! Im hidden below waist level by my antique car for 90% of the space. Heard some footsteps then a have a nice day with a bit of a chuckle... The Amazon guy left a package on the porch where he probably saw my backside!
