Wreck Beach - Vancouver BC
We have gone to Wreck Beach in Vancouver BC. Large, legal nude beach with over 14,000 visitors a day on a hot summer weekend. Great sand, nice view (ocean and people!). It's great being naked outside among thousands of other people who love being naked in public as well. Makes you feel you are part of something really big. Ah yes, Wreck Beach... that Pacific North West haven for nudists of all ages, vocations and persuasions. I'm sure many TN members have fond memories of the place; I sure do. Dating myself here, but as a college student I journeyed to Vancouver to see Expo 86 and decided to stay for the summer, spending countless days playing volleyball; beachcombing the length of Wreck Beach, and adjoining Tower Beach, and on up to Acadia before turning back; and generally marvelling at Wreck's beauty and its eclectic cast of characters, at once sharing and contributing to the special vibe. Since that magical summer my visits to Vancouver have sadly become fewer and fewer to the point of being non-existent. Given the chance, I'd return in an instant.
