RE:does anyone have any experience with yurts?

You know. I associate yurts with Glamping too. I have the wild dream of buying some land and putting up some Yurts for a clothing optional resort. But a more of a secluded resort experience. Have just enough trees and space for each Yurt to have privacy. Dont get me wrong I like meeting people, but sometimes I just want to get away with my wife and relax with pants or without. Maybe an idea for my retirement years.

This second post of pictures is of yurts on clothing optional properties; The green yurt is at Hangin' Loose, The Big Island, Hawaii. The two white yurts are at Lupin Lodge, Los Gatos, CA There are pics of the inside of the yurt at Hangin' Loose resort. Click on the link and clink on Yurt and enjoy some Hawaiian music and look through the pictures of the property and the yurt.

That is great. So I am not the only one that thinks this is a great idea. I know Lupin Lodge is close enough. I need to check it out. So there is a market for this kind of glamping. Mmmm. I feel like a yurt and clothing optional just go hand in hand. Kind of like the way I feel about jacuzzis now. :)

I think my wife would be up for this type of accommodation in place of a park model (single wide mobile home) accommodation. Not sure of the sound proof qualities. There have been some pretty heavy snorers and love makers in the rooms next to us as nudist and textile places. When you build your place ... make sure you provide space between units for sound proofing! :DDD

My wife and I stayed in a yurt at Lupin as well. We enjoyed it. Very comfortable and spacious. Plus the novelty of it was cool for these east coasters lol.

And you're right about the jacuzzi/hot tub. Any nudist venue worth it's salt will have one. We have our own hot tub outside which we are able to use nude year round. I told my wife that our hot tub is a quality of life necessity lol.

Peace
