RE: Favorite Cartoon you watched as a child

Mostly Looney Tunes (especiallytheones with Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote, Tazmanian Devil, Marvin Martian and Pepe'Le Pew). I also liked the Rocky and Bullwikle Show (particularlty Fractured Fairy Tales and George of the Jungle).

Cartoons

There were so many. I would have to say Loony Toons, Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo, Mighty Mouse, and The Adventures of Superboy.

Superfriends, was my favorite growing up. I had to wakeup at 6am to watch it. And this was after staying up until mid night the night before so I could watch the country music TV shows.

My favorite was and still is Loony Toons. Mel Blanc was a genius. LOL, it's been fun reading through this thread and being reminded of all the old cartoons - everyone remember the Jetsons?

I was also going to say Beanie & Cecil! None of my friends remember that - but I do. I had a Beanie & Cecil coloring book - loved it. !
I had to look that up. Turns out I knew them as Bout'chou et Cassecou.

As for H.R. Puffinstuff, another in the same genre was Lidsville, where everyone was a hat except for a Genie and two other humans, one young good guy and the other a nasty wizard named Horatio (although we did see his twin brother Bruce once).
