Naturism/nudism in Ireland
People say that it is too cold, wet and windy in Ireland to be nude out of doors. Well, we have a big surprise in store for the world we are about to get our first official clothing optional outdoor venue. This will be situated on the South side of Dublin on the East coast. It is causing a little bit of a stir but thus far hardly any [just 1] negative comment since the announcement hit the media this morning. It is covered on TV. Radio and in the press. The local Council are in the process of erecting signage and this task should be completed in the next few weeks It is hoped that all or most of our presently unofficial venues around the country will follow suit and be given official designations in the not-to-distant future. Since 2017 nudity in public is no longer illegal in Ireland with certain caveats.
