AUSSIE LOCKER ROOMS

One that isn't - Healthworks at Hendra in Brisbane used to have two doored shower stalls and one wide open one until a remodel a few years ago, now all with doors. Door locks don't always work well, so you very occasionally see someone showering with the door not quite shut. I still go there almost daily, however, as the facilities are good and the crowd friendly. Locker room sees a mix of towel dancers and nude. Swimwear in the mixed gender sauna and steam room.

One that did have open showers off the public locker room, but is about to or has just had a remodel, is the Hobart aquatic centre. The gym / pool members' locker room had two rows of open stalls facing each other when I last visited several years ago. Y pool at Rosny has a small shower room with one closed stall and 3 or 4 shower heads around the walls on the rest of the room.

It is just such a poor reflection of the changes in society that there are now such hang ups in broad society and the prudes are so vocal

Thirroul beach showers. Open roof, so you can dry yourself in the sun, and open showers, with only cold water. So refreshing in the summer! Seen some nude, some in shorts. Me, Im always nude! Lol

My gym in Brisbane has silly shower cubicles. Having a long shower is the reward for a good workout
