Body Painting photo shoot
Hey guys,
Wondering if anyone has done this before. So my buddy (the one who's going to be my new roommate) wants to do a body painting photo shoot where he is completely naked, covered in colored paint and standing against a black and white background. Has anyone done something like that before (or body paint in general)? What sort of paint should he use and is there any sort of precaution he should take for being completely covered like that? Straws in nose, etc?

Tempera paint, available in any store that carries art supplies, is great for body painting. It's non toxic, easy to apply and can be washed off with soap and water. Can be applied with a brush or roller. Don't get it in your eyes but no real safety precautions need be taken. Half the fun is in the painting itself, which is best done by a friend. If you don't like the way it looks you can paint over it after it dries. Tempura dries rather quickly. Have fun and maybe post the pictures when you're done.

Nice man! I appreciate the advice. I'll look into that and let him know!

I noticed that a body painter was using tape, to get a clean line. It looked like electrical tape, or the sport tape. I am jealous , I want to paint again. enjoy!

Ha ha! We'll see ;) But thanks! It's never something I really looked into before but I'm finding it interesting.
