On Thursday night I was cleaning the fish pond filters when it started to rain. As I generally get wet anyway while doing this job I just continued.
The weather was warm and so was the rain, so I just continued with my task.
Many times people have told me that I should go outside naked in the rain but have never had the chance before. Usually, in Yorkshire if it's raining it's also bloody cold.
It was quite pleasant and I continued with my task, until I realised I was getting far wetter than I normally do, so abandoned my task and retired indoors. What followed was 40+ minutes of continuous thunder and lightening - it looked like a fluorescent tube flickering. The rain was so heavy we could only just see the trees at the foot of the garden.
The next day, while the grass is a little greener than it had been, things were already drying out again
