RE:Retirement

I regard retirement as an opportunity to choose how we spend our time, rather than as an extended holiday. If we engage in voluntary work for the community, we probably need to be dressed (I certainly do). I still take church services as well as volunteering at the local foodbank, and I take care not to be seen naked by any of those groups. In addition, it is currently too cold not to wear clothes. However, when the weather is warmer I can be naked for much of the time. I chaired a foodbank trustees meeting via zoom wearing a shirt and nothing else, because only my upper body was visible. I chaired a 3-day examiners' meeting naked, because it was audio only.

One of my retired colleagues says he rarely wears a shirt for Zoom meetings. He tries to keep the camera focused on his face. but if someone sees enough of his shoulders and upper chest to know he isn't wearing a shirt, he doesn't care.
