RE:Havana Sauna

Hey man, Ive been there many times. Like most Korean spas, its segregated by gender. You get a bath towel and small hand towel along a locker key. After entering the mens side, put your shoes in the small shoe locker. Then round the corner for the lockers. Everyone is naked. Just off the main locker room is a simple relaxation room with lounge chairs and a crystal room heated like a sauna with mats on the floor. The locker room has a few sinks and a few grooming products. Theres a TV and some chairs. The wet area has three open showers and a few sit down showers, Korean style. Theres a cold plunge and a large hot tub, two saunas and a steam room.

Its not a large place, but it has many of the things youd expect at a Korean spa. Its clean, at least on the surface. Theres often light bulbs out. The crowd size varies with the day of the week and time of day. Ive been there with only one or two others. Ive seen as many as 15-20 at one time. Usual mixture of some Asians, other ethnicities, guys of all ages, shapes, sizes, etc. Its obvious that some guys try to play there, but the majority seems to want to just relax and enjoy the comraderie of other naked men.

Thanks for the great response. Sounds like a mini version of the Korean spa that I went to in New York City. I think Ill check it out when I get into town in September. Anyone care to join me? If youre interested, send me a message and well figure something out.
