Considering going smooth
It has to be your choice. I've been smooth down there for years and enjoy the look and feel. I did a survey on two big nude beaches in southern Europe ( 1000 sample - arduous but for statistical significance someone had to do it). I found that 90% of womed and 2/3 of men had no pubic hair. So you will join the majority if you go smooth. BTW it exposes the genitals more - men's cocks look bigger and women's bits look more accessible.
You need to try it for yourself. You can look at as many people as you want and admire the look but you need to try and see if you like it. Do you like the look on yourself? Do you like the smoothness? Are you ok with shaving at some frequency to maintain it? These are all questions that can only be answered by you and based on your own experience. I say go for it. Just make sure you do your research about how to shave and maintain to minimize irritation, ingrown hairs etc. I believe its worth the effort.
I have not been natural bushy in years. I dont remember when it was but it has been a long time. I have either trimmed or shaved it all off. Been bare for the last 2 years.
I did shave once years ago and didnt like the fact of the rash I got so I let it all grow back in. I found later it was because I went against the grain and used a razor that wasnt new. I use magic powder now and I rarely get a rash.
If you shave use a new razor and go with the hair, not against it. If you end up not liking it, you can let it all grow back.
I've been mostly smooth for the last 5 or 6 years. Really hated all the hair down there. Once I shaved it there was no going back. Did let it grow back one winter for a bit bit hated it. I too found the hard way that shaving against the grain causes bleeding for me unless I do it very gently and that's after I've shaved with the grain. A sharp razor does make all the difference. It does give you a much closer shave though. The magic shave works for the hair on my taint and anus region but not so well on my pubes. I don't think it works well on gray hair. Maybe it's too course. Maybe I should be using the powder kind you have to mix instead of the cream. I also use magic shave on my ear hairs which is another story entirely.
