Hello Group
Hi, guys! What a lovely idea this group! Older-to-Younger (and v.v.) is one of the fundamental relations in society, has been for millennia, and is of course relevant in both nudity and sexuality.
About nudity, my background is such that I have never experienced the opposition to it on grounds of religious conservatism, so common in the West. But I have lived in an environment where social nudity (such as on the beach) was actually banned in an act of political oppression, and where, accordingly, an 'illegal' nudist beach was an act of political rebellion. I have actually been chased away from the beach by uniformed police with police dogs(!) and threatened with 'consequences'. I am, therefore, all the more puzzled and saddened by the onset of neo-conservatism embraced these days by the young in a situation of relative political freedom... On a more positive note, my younger friends that I have initiated into nudism have never looked back. And in this regard, the older generation has indeed a role to play in defence of liberal values.
Welcome! In defense of our younger nudist friends, I don't think they have succumbed 100% to neoconservatism (or a brand of feminism which may equate penises as tools of violence). But I do think they are finding their voice - if not accompanied with digital representation that could follow them forever - to show us how nudism is a state of mind and body and it is good. In the meantime, well keep on getting chased away naked.
Just came upon this short movie that provides a great comment on the subject of young vs old. And it seems the whole question is not generational, it is all about upbringing and the prevailing moral attitudes. As a matter of fact, what I find objectionable in the protagonist's attitude to nudity, I would definitely object to quite apart from the matter of whether he is clothed or naked.
