Really a kynodesm is a cord or strap tied tightly round the end of the foreskin to prevent exposure of the penis head. The original Olympics were contested naked and it was considered indecent to expose the penis head. As an optional extra the string can be tied round the waist to lift the penis uncovering the balls.
Strictly speaking anyone who is cut can't wear a kynodesm and would inevitably be seen as indecent by the ancient Greeks. A Prince Albert piercing was originally used to tie the penis up to the waist when the gentlemen wore tights and a codpiece. But there is nothing to stop anyone tying their penis up to uncover their balls. Personally I just like to let them all dangle.

Same here, I like letting 'em all dangle freely, or, if anything is lifted upward let it do so on its own.
well i'm cut and have been restoring on and off for years so if i was uncut or to the point i had loose foreskin i think i'd wear a kynodesm every day, i have one i made myself and wear occasionally but they are only comfortable when nude and usually when i'm nude i'm flaccid and small 1/2 -3/4 inch so . i like the idea of a PA and kynodesm kinda concerned about ripped skin though.
I found this picture of a kynodesme in useon the internet. The essential feature is that it is tied around the extended foreskin. Tying it round the waist is an optional extra to lift the penis and expose the sack.
(I posted the pic but it was censored)
