Back To The Future

Imagine you would have access to a time machine but can only use it once. There's no turning back. Would you use it? And if yes, what would you do with it, where would you go? Would you try to change the past in order to alter your current life?

RE:Back To The Future

I think the whole idea of time travel gets really complicated when you start to think about it. If I move backward in time and remind on the same spot, what happens if there was a tree here when I travel back a hundred years? Or if the ground is higher or lower? And what if you did something that changed the future? It wouldn't have to be much - maybe just dropping a piece of paper could change the future for everyone, not just you.

It's maybe something that's interesting to dream about, but I'll go with Omar Khayyam - "The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ, Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line"

Perhaps we just have to apologise and try again if we got it wrong the first time!
