Nudist to the Bone

Hi there, and it's a pleasure to join this group!

As a child, my household was a little strange. We were very nudity-positive. I showered with my parents and siblings, no one ever closed a door, and being naked was never anything we were reprimanded for or encouraged not to do. To this day, at 28 years old, I still feel comfortable chatting with my mom in the bathroom while she showers or dresses. However, my house was very sex-negative. My parents actively discouraged sexual expression of any kind, including masturbation. Needless to say, I was a confused kid.

As I came into myself, I thought it was strange that so many people were ashamed of their bodies. While I did succumb to some peer pressure to hide my junk while changing in the locker rooms in middle or high school, it didn't last long and I quickly stopped caring. As I got older, I always really enjoyed hanging out in the shower with the guys and being naked whenever and wherever I could. When I went to UC Berkeley, I found myself hanging around the clothing-optional co-op almost every day -- an avid participant in Naked Pizza Fridays. San Francisco is a haven for nudists, but I unfortunately witnessed a small recision of this freedom due to some individuals who gave us a bad name (lookin' at you, creepy Castro guy). All in all, the nude beaches, body positivity, and open culture allowed me to be naked as the day I was born nearly anywhere I liked.

My living arrangements with various roommates have always been clothing-optional and I loved that. My husband thinks I'm crazy -- he's not the kind to strip down ANYWHERE, and that's perfectly ok -- but he's completely supportive and is glad to see me express myself.

One thing I wish I could do more of is go hiking or camping in the nude. I haven't had any opportunities for that, and I'm looking forward to finding some people here to do those things with!

As always, ask me anything!

Welcome! I also relate to being body positive and sex negative in my household of origin.

Hello, Thanks for accepting me into this great group. I live in a very rural area and find it impossible to find other nudists in my area. I hope that I will find others here that share some of the same interests.

I travel for work and pleasure and make a point of meeting nudists where I can. Many of us don't have local friends for all sorts of reasons. I also host n guest.
