How to leave comments on a persons page

Hi, I am probably missing something blindingly obvious, but can anyone tell me how to leave a comment on someone's page. The person already has comments on their photos, but I can see no way to leave one on their page. Thanks.
I think you'll find that you can't, unless you are on their friends list.

Then you will see an "Add a Comment" link above the previous
comments on their profile.

Thanks for that folks, I thought it would probably be something blatantly obvious. Hopefully the person concerned will be on my FL soon anyway. Phil - I am glad that you have decided to stay put. Keep up the good work it is appreciated by many of us.
