We sort of take a different approach in our photos. We are very much nudists, and we certified as well, because like all of you, we got tired of the fakes. we have posted textile photos for public view, so others can get a sense of who we are. we save the nudes for certified friends. it is not a perfect system, but it gives us a chance to vet the people that send us friend requests and (we hope) limits who has access to our nudes done end up in a google picture search. While we do fully own being nudists, we both work for companies that are run by seriously uptight people, so we take precautions. it is also probably why we dont get a ton of friend requests... but i think we can be ok with that given some of the stories we have seen here, as well as our account feed lately.
it sucks that this level of scrutiny is even necessary. i agree, with what all of you are saying about people with private accounts. they shouldnt be allowed to "snoop" before they friend if they cant give us at least some hint.
on the few instances where i have received a friend request, i will sometimes accept, view their profile, and then unfriend/block if i think they are a fake. at most, they might get a notice that they were accepted, but by the time they can do anything about it, they are probably already blocked for doing anything more.
i miss one of the old nudist sites. i think it was Nudist playhouse or something like that. they got hacked and shut down a few years back. the one thing they did that i really liked was, not only did they certify like TN, but they had a certification method where you sent you in your AANR information, and they actually checked with AANR to confirm you were a member before they approved you. I am sure TN could do something like that as an added measure of security if they really wanted.
Approach explained by dznycpl seems to work, so why someone sets profile as "private"?
Are you real nudist?
In real life no one counl go to beach being invisible.
Or, even worse, no one could come to me wearing a mask and truing to be my friend.
It was called Nudist Clubhouse. It was a very good site. There was hope thst it would be resurrected but the website owner became too busy with work and more involved with AANR.
That stie would be tied with AANR and could not be worldwide (read: less money.)
Many of the blank profiles have such a Peeping Tom's mentality, they want to see everything and everybody stark naked, however, do not trust to themselves even yet her face to point. Particularly from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Indonesia there are countless blank profiles of solo men who see, therefore, with pleasure naked women because they have not experienced this scenery in the reality yet. They have never seen in the real life a woman stark-naked. With Salafists and Wahabists and other radical islamists a woman may see a man not naked. Then there is one more group of men who spend themselves as a couple, but in the profile only photos of the man present in the album. All together it is a matter of sticking that also here too many liars, swindlers and betrayers are on the move for whom one should absolutely go from the way. Take care and protect your privacy!
What makes me mad is people asking to be friend and show a blank profile or no pictures.
I am in total agreement. There are also quite many "True Nudist" members who (will) remove all their media once Certification is approved.
What's written in the "About/Intro" page of this Group is completely true. Some people are just intentionally fake.
But clarify if it is true. Paid members can circumvent the need to befriend you - they can see everything (all photos) regardless you're friend or not.
