Personally, I prefer a g-string as I sometimes need the anti-erection security which they provide when a particularly attractive young woman walk past.
I used to have a transparent black one but that got mislaid on my last beach holiday so I have just bought the four latest offerings.

I bought a couple a few months ago from the good devil brand called "Full Package". It's mesh material, a bit see through, but works great!

I have never fancied any of the cock bags on the market but I did consider using the good quality net bag that was the packaging of something as a cock bag but never did so as I have never had any suitable time and place to wear it.
If I can find it I will take a picture with it and add it to this topic, gallery and my profile.

I don't think I'd be any risk of bursting out of mine, but in a way they are more of a statement than either a thong or nude. Should try one sometime to mix things up a little.
