US Navy Vet 84-88

Thanks for letting me in this awesome group. First off I would like to thank all veterans from the past, present, and now the future ones for there service in protecting our country. I would also like to thank the veterans from around as well.

I served in the US Navy from November 6, 1984 till November 5, 1988. It all should out in Orlando, Fl for boot camp, after the I went to my first command. To my surprise I was order to report to USS TICONDEROGA CG47 it was the first aegis cruiser and when I got there she was less then three years old. During my time there I did a North Atlantic cruise for three months in 1985. After that I did a Med cruise for six months from March 86 till September 86, during this cruise I was part of the bombing of Libya. Seen many nice countries during cruise including France and yes the nude beaches there, this was the best day of my life. To this day I love being nude as much as I can, thanks to the people in France and there nude beaches. In September 87 till March 88 I was in the Persian Gulf in the Tanker War escorting reflagged tankers. Oh yes scary times. Nothing like Christmas 87, and New Yrs Eve 87 in the gulf.

After I left the November 88, I was in the Navy Reserves until 92. In my time in the Navy I saw a lot of cool places and some not so great but that was ok. One final not before I close here, thanks to all veterans in the world.
