:DDD... post #8 asked about cleaning garages naked, I answered and you answered me... now we're off topic and headed in another direction! :DDDDD No biggie...Back on topic; We are in the planning stages of tearing out our existing stall shower and tub in the master bath. We want to put in a large walk in shower with tile floor to ceiling and overhead. I'd like multiple shower heads and enough room for 4 but it'll only be us two! ;D I have already volunteered to clean that shower weekly and wipe it down after each use because of our hard water issues. We're always naked anyway so cleaning our home shower wouldn't be as much fun as cleaning the fire house gang shower! If you're doing a major renovation lite that, consider a steam shower. Maybe 1 or 2k more, but well worth it. You'll need 240 volt/50 or 60 amp too for the steamer.
A steamer would be awesome for me but my wife wouldn't like it! Wouldn't work in our case because we're looking to build a doorless shower stall that's close to 5' wide and 7.5' long. Our water controls will be right inside the entrance into the shower so you don't have to get wet when you turn on the water. It'll have a bench for my wife to shave her legs, cubbies for shower essentials, an additional seat in one corner to sit and dry off and of course the much needed towel hooks. Heat lamps overhead for those cold winter mornings and evenings. Still trying to decide if we redo the tile floor and put in a heating pad under the new tile. New light fixtures, new sinks, countertops, vanities, fixtures... the more I type the more money it's gonna cost! :DDDD
I'll spend a good 30-40 mins cleaning that shower every week and lovin' every minute! ;D
Wow 240 volts and 60 amp!!!!! Andy, I don't think you'll need your epilator any more if you have that kind of power. Probably wouldn't need the bidet either.....just goggles! :-)
We don't have a bidet but seriously looking into those toilet seats that are warmed and have various water jet functions that perform like a bidet. First time I used one was in a nice hotel we stayed in and it was great. I could see cost savings on toilet tissue and baby wipes! Anyone else seen or used one of these toilet seats? I know we'll be getting off track again but it is cleaning and bathroom related! :DDDD

Just cleaned the bathroom nude last night. I used a bidet when I was in Rome and it was great. Looked into buying an adaption you can put on your toilet seat but haven't made the move yet.

I've been considering a shower head on hose by the WC similar to one fitted at a hotel we stayed in. It worked well for us and is probably easier to source and install.

Don't even think of putting new tile floors in without the heating elements underneath. They can even be configured to heat the room and a warm bathroom after the shower is shut off is pretty darn nice. Put this in a friend's bath and he loves it.
