More Coaches on the hot seat

Recent article by Jim Trotter in SI on more coaches on the hto seat this season. One , Brad Childress of the Vikings, already got the boot. From their SI.com site, looks like Josh McDaniels of the Bronces could be next. The team seems to have declined under his watch, so no surprise their. The rest on the list were John Fox (Panthers), Mike Singletary (49ers), Gary Kubiak (Texans), Jack Del Rio (Jaguars), and Marvin Lewis (Bengals). I would add Tom Coughlin's name to that list if the Giants don't make the playoffs. How much responsiblity Fox, Kubiakand Del Rio bear for their team's performance is debatable ( I think the problems with those3 teams go beyond the coaches). Singletary may be a part of the 49ers problem, but there are bigger issues there too.Lewis' record with the Begnalsis not stellar, but management's ignoring the defense in the off season shows, as does Palmer's poor performance this season.

Well, Josh McDaniels got the boot yesterday. I wonder if anyone else will get the axe before the end of the season.

Just announced this morning that Mike Singletary is out in SF. Might as well have waited until the end of the season, which will be next week for them. Given Houston's fade, Kubiak could be gone at the end of the season, possibly Fox in Carolina too.
