Both of us combat vets....
Matt retired AF... 25 years enlisted and officer with 260+ combat missions between @980 and 2995. Annie both active and reserve time with 160+ combat missions since1986. Annie still reservist and up for promotion which is why pics blurred.

I never got shot at on purpose. Depending on how you want to look at it, I was either at the right place at the right time or the wrong place at the wrong time, but I managed to miss every conflict the Army had while I was on active duty. Ironically I wound up going to Iraq and Afghanistan as a retired guy, which was a bit surreal . . .
Hi I'm Tim. I too am a combat vet. I was in the AF reserves for 11 years as a C-17 loadmaster. Had little over 2600 hours and was shot at one time that I know of. Love to talk more with you and thank you both for your service!
