I have been driving nude sense i got my license. I worked on a local farm and every day i would take a swim at the pond at the farm and there was no need to put dirty clothes back on so i just drove home sitting on my towel. Even today if i have to drive for more than an hour i will strip down and enjoy the freedom it brings. the best part is when i have my top and doors off the Jeep and go out for a drive. I still have a towel to cover up if people are offended, to show respect but it is so nice to have not top, doors and some times when the bugs are not out i will drop the windshield and have a great ride.
Thats awesome. I still have never had the nerve to do that. When I would leave the nudist resort, I always hated to put on clothes.
Do you put on just shorts or a shirt too?
I haven't driven nude either, but usually drive shirtless in warm weather.
It was summer of 1976, and I was temporarily stationed in Idaho Falls, at the Naval Reactor Prototype Facility there. Young (23), dumb, single Sailor. Feeling blue, as I was still a virgin, and no real prospects of getting married any time soon. (I was and still am one of those much-loathed Protestant Evangelicals, and so didn't cuss, smoke, drink, or chew--or run around with women who do.) That said, I was also not a nudist.
But one day off, clear weather, deserted 2-lane US highway to the east, to Jackson Hole, I was really down, and while driving my 75 Dart 4-door sedan, stripped down. Perhaps an hour's worth of nude driving, and didn't see a single soul.
More recently, I had gone nude flying while my wife was out of town (she is adamantly, stubbornly, implacably textile), and as it was pretty late, after I landed at our deserted airport, just hopped out, pushed the plane into the hangar, and got in the little S-10Xtreme pickup, drove home, closed the garage door before I got out.
Pretty boring. My longest nude flight was about 2.7 hours, flying myself down to visit my wife in Northeast MS, where she was helping to care for her now late father. She doesn't know of any of those flights.
