Christmas is a great excuse to party
Christmas is a time for hypocrisy, a time for those that never go church, do not worship, and do not live a devout life to say i believe so lets party! lol
I myself do not believe in "god" this mythical being that no one has ever seen (please no one write " he's all around us"), has done nothing, helped no one and never appears when you want him to, in fact the number 11 bus appears more often!
I know that these comments will inflame all the little wannabe jesus's and Mary's out there, but do me one favour please, don't write any comments back unless you have ACTUALLY seen your god! (A lost tribe in Africa who pray every morning to the Sun as their god is laughed at, they see their god everyday, so who's the fool?)
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and belief, good luck with your's, MERRY CHRISTMAS...I'm Going To Party!!!
is it only coincidence that the majority of "believers" are elderly, and therefore want to believe there is something else after death? I'm not suggesting that this is wrong, its human nature, but anybody can worship a comic book and make believe its real. Who knows in a thousand years from now somebody may discover a comic book and millions of people start to worship superman from the planet krypton.
Sorry Jackie, i dont mean to stir things i like healthy debate without abuse, the interesting thing is that somebody religious like nudeinmais bordering on abuse with his reply here, is that what god teaches/preaches?
Anyway, jackie, have a wonderful holiday!!

Another picture of a baby boy...interesting...what were your reasons for becoming a naturist i wonder... what religious sect is it your in? Very disappointed someone with such an obvioushigh iq can only deliver abuse...why not up the ante and try and write something a bit more grown up and interesting next time?
I know nudeinma...hit me with the question all atheists avoid, the one you mentioned earlier...i'm waiting...i wonder what the odds its not forthcoming...is everyone ready for the question? Come on nudeinma try me....lol
Atheist, Christian, Jew,Buddhist,Hindu,Pagan ... all try to understand the universe and our place in it. Scienceinformsus that the universe began at thetimeof the big bang and that our material universe developed from that event but none of us can determine what existed prior to that event or what caused it. I try to understand itthroughPagan philosophy and mythology which strangelyenough is supported by the scientific discoveries of the modern world. NDE's would strongly appear to support the idea of survival of the individual following death. How these and other related events etc areinterpreted is the realm of religion. Nothing in any religion (including the 7 day {how long is a celestial day?} statements in any way refute this.
As mentioned religion is an attempt to understand our place in the universe. Unless someone studies a specific religion in depth and without ajaundicedeye how can they pass judgement on it? OK, on to thesubjectof Christmas. Even a large majority of Christiansacceptthat the date of Christmas was chosen and probably not the actual date of Christ's birth but that should not concern us. This is a seminaleventin Christian doctrine and to deny them the right to celebrate as they see fit is simply a form of intolerance. I agree that to many Christmas is simply a secular type holiday but to many many more it is indeed a time of religious celebration and introspection. It is unfortunate that commercialism has reared its ugly head during theChristmasperiod as indeed it has prior to or on other religious dates (as covered in another topic) but for religious Christians, of which there are many, it is not a time of "hypocrisy" and simply "party time" as you intimate. I fail to understand why you would start such aninflammatorytopic, particularly at this time of year.
Anyway, from a Pagan to all our Christian friends I wish you a very happy and Merry Christmas
Ah i see now, just checked your profile and observed your modest nudist picture, black does hide it rather well but yes, you are one of lifes bigger people. Only an obviously smug person such as yourself could pose a question and believe them selves clever enough to answer for others, alas nudeinma or god as i'm sure your alias is, you are wrong, i would hold my hand up admit i was wrong and ask for penance, but you and i both know it will never happen and he will never show, as its a figment of an elderly fat blokes imagination because his fingers are crossed hes not close to an eternity of nothing and desperately wants to believe otherwise, a few more pounds and years i might feel the same. Happy holidays!
