Nudist site clothed only pictures
It seems strange to me that this is a nudist site and a great number of people on here have clothed only pictures and/or no face showing. This site is called True Nudists for a reason. If you only have clothed pictures of yourself or no picture at all, how can you call yourself a nudist/naturist? True nudists are not ashamed to show pictures of themselves with their face showing, otherwise why would you even be on this site. I understand that there are a lot of fakes and imposters out there and hopefully the site will be able to develop a system to eliminate them or give them the opportunity to prove their honest intentions of being a true nudists
Seems the dead horse is in need of another beating..... ;)
Not trying to be argumentative, but if you think carefully about what you wrote, you're implying that a "true nudist" is one who desires to see/be seen by others naked (inclusive of anyone who can figure out how to use google). To be fair - there really is no one definition of "true nudism", but I would think being nude/enjoying a nude lifestyle would be more important than seeing/being seen (which may even border more on exhibitionism/voyeurism).
To say people who visit real clubs/beaches/events are less true nudists than those who just post pictures on the internet doesnt seem very reasonable. Those that don't post nude pictures here often have very good reasons, and will probably tell you why if you simply ask.
Just my 2 cents.
Wow so your idea of what being a true nudist is, is the the only correct one. Anyone that doesn't share those views should be banned. So how does posting photos of yourself make you a true nudist or for that fact not aphony. There are a lot of places to find nude photos on the web and until you meet someone in person you don't if it is them or not. I don't worry about if person post pictures or not, figure thats a individual decision everyone is entitled to make. I worry about people that make a big deal about posting photos as I feel they might be avoyeur or a picture collector and not a true nudist.
You confuse the internet with physical reality. Certainly anyone who enjoys social nudity (real life, not at the keyboard) is a "true" nudist. But such people DO get to choose their occasions - in some company, in some locations, in some moods, they will certainly be clothed. For many of us, online with thousands of strangers and in potential view of the entire Web is simply not the place. No explanations are needed.
hmmm..... good question. Not to be negative though, probably because there's a lot of reasons. Like generally for me, I'm releatively new so I didn't take the time to take a nude pic for my profile, so I got a generic one of me up for the time being. Lack the quality camera and it's currently bad timing so i won't be able as of yet. But quite sure most do wanna post our nudes pics, because I believe we all want to be seen and to be accepted by the community at large. So yea, it's not because we're not "true nudists" or anything like that, at least that's what I think. Could be totally wrong for all I know xD
LMAO! Free2b...If you truly feel this way, then how come you're clothed in your profile pic???
As far as the many fake profiles here (yes, there are a lot of them), I think you'll find that most of the "fake" profiles feature nude pics stolen from the internet. With your definition, doesn't that make the "fakes" true nudists more so than the real nudists who choose not to openly publish nude pics?
My personal definition of being a nudist doesn't include "being seen" nude. It's simply a preference of not wearing clothes. When I am with like minded people, I don't feel as if I'm being "seen", as we are all nude. "Nude when possible, clothed when practical". For many, posting nude pics on a site that iscompletely open to anyoneand everyone, whether "logged" in as members or not, simply isn't practical.

I think perhaps I may have put my statements out of context, I did not mean to imply that you have to post nude pics in order to be considered a true nudist. I guess my real intent was to stimulate some discussion on the topic of people saying they are nudists on the site but yet all the pics are clothed. Did not intend any negativity toward those on this site
Enjoying social nudity is one thing, documenting that in photographs is something else again. Near as I can tell, this site is for people who enjoy social nudity - regardless how photography fits into their lives or their web presence. It's simply NOT a see-andd-be-seen photo group. I can see that this would be frustrating for people who live tied to the keyboard, but it's a complete non-issue for folks with a clothing-optional social life.
