Has anyone tried Cooltan swim briefs?I would think that the soft lightweight material would minimize the confinement feeling while the brief style provides maximum freedom of leg motion, but would like the opinion of someone who has actually tried them.
I've not tried Cooltan briefs but I have some Cooltan shorts and can vouch for the softness of the material and the fact that my Kiniki tangas are the closest to feeling naked that I have encountered, on a par with my transparent g-string.

I had 4 Kiniki suits, not all at the same time. I felt that the tangas and micros were too revealing, so I got rid of them quickly. I wore a full brief for a while, but it just felt too confining. I kept a pair or 2" trunks until they wore out.
While Kiniki suits are even lighter and faster drying than Cooltan, I found the material a bit scratchy and less comfortable overall.
I have both the Cooltan swim briefs and Boxer swimmers. They are Ok and do the job. They recommend a larger brief size, so a bit 'baggy' so cannot comment on comfort. But on textile beaches they do the job.
Thanks for the reply. Just ordered a brief and upsized one so it won't be too tight.
Went paddle hoarding yesterday and wore speedo swim wear. Not many guys wear them and I dont know why. From a functionality stand point they are much better than board shorts.
Not daring enough for the Orlando Bloom look when paddle boarding?
I used to wear speedos more than I do now, but since I stopped wearing underwear (usually breifs) I find them very confining and actually wear short swim shorts more often.
Its pretty rare for me to get the chance to skinny dip. My primary option is one of the local pools, and mainly during the winter. I wear a boxer-brief style suit as it is very modest but also allows decent freedom of movement for the boys. I got to do some lengthy nude swimming this last summer in the BC Okanagan (Nipple Point) -the highlight of my summer for sure!
I wear a bikini-style swim suit when I have to wear a suit to go swimming, such as when I do my swim workouts. The ones I currently wear are from Turbo Swim. I also have gotten my suits from Agon. I prefer these 2 brands because of the very cool graphics and designs that are available in these suits. Here is my Australia - Kangaroo suit...
