I own an old wetbike (1978 I think) while I agree that its a blast, in answer to the question who doesnt (love them), any one looking for a quiet time on the beach, or in a kayak, canoe or sailboat, and quite frankly me, when Im not on mine! Mostly I object to the noise but sometimes the behavior, Ive had quite a few close encounters with them while swimming! A few bad apples......

Sue and I are on Lake St Clair 9 Mile and Jefferson area. Spend most of our time muscamoot Bay. Or in the middle of a lake naked

SOME October days can be very warm and nice (Sometimes sailing and tacking, we will cross the International Border between Ontario, Canada and New York State, USA one to two dozen times a day) Yes we are about as far north in NY as you can get - Border is about 2 miles from my dock

We have a Rinker 270 on Lake Michigan slipped in New Buffalo, and we love bare boating!

We have enjoyed being naked on our boat in northern Michigan this summer, Lake Huron/Michigan and Superior. It has been awesome.
