Nudism and Skin Care
Fortunately, I was blessed with skin that browns well in the sun. But now that I'm older, I understand that just because I haven't burned doesn't mean I'm not at risk from UV rays. Before I get in the sun, I generously apply sunscreen everywhere, SPF 30. You can use higher SPF, but the difference is minimal. After my time in the sun, and after I've showered the sweat and sunscreen away, I usually apply some kind of aftercare lotion, to be sure my skin stays moisturized.

UK Docs in the NHS say that staying out of the sun - where possible - between 1100 to 1500. Even on cloudy days wear a sunscreen (with a SPF) There a great explanation of how many minutes you can stay in the sun after using a various SPF levels. It's based upon "how long did/does it take for you to burn" segments multiplied by the level of SPF.
So, how long can I stay in the sun with SPF 30? That is, if your baseline, unprotected time limit for sun exposure is say 30 minutes before burning, an SPF (sun protection factor) 30 sunscreen would allow you to remain outside for 30 times that duration, or 15 hours. If your baseline is 15 minutes, an SPF 30 would only hypothetically provide 7.5 hours of protection.
Some of the sunscreen lotions/gels even have anti-aging or anti-pigmentation content. It seems that applying sunscreen SPF 15-minutes BEFORE going out is key too.
Covering up with hats and long sleeves seems silly but works.
I use a sunscreen made by a Swiss company called ULTRASUN. A single application per day - even after sweating or swimming. It works. In the UK summer as standard I use the SPF Sports Gel - https://amzn.to/2KkUmXK
