Great Beach Day
Another TN and myself met up at Lake Michigan for a beach day. It could not have been a better day than what it was. the weather was perfect, water was perfect for swimming (laps) and no flies because of the west wind of the lake. The only problem, we got to our site and I had left my backpack in my Jeep. So, not sure if it was in the Jeep I went back over the dune and down the long path to get it. Got my exercise in yesterday![
Took a two hour lunch naked on the beach on Lake Michigan. No one was in the area I hike to but lots of people In the swim area where there was no lifeguard. A Gary Police officer showed up on a four-wheeler just as I was packed up and leaving. I had my shorts on at that point but I wondered if there might be more use for a lifeguard in the swimming area rather than a cop where men lay out naked from time to time.
Keeping the empty end of the beach safe for democracy.

Do you ever go on Saturday mornings at all? I'd like to join one Saturday for a few hours?
I've been talking with a guy who has started to visit Kemil nude this year. He says that he's spoken with a DNR officer at the park. This officer agreed that nudity on federal property is permitted. They don't advertise it, but anything East of the state park women can be topless and nudity is overlooked. This is interesting information because I've been turning left from the Kemil entrance and walking down about a mile to get naked for years. After looking at a map on the National Park Service website, I've found that this puts me smack-dab in state park territory. I guess I need to look for something more to the right of the Kemil entrance. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Curious about this, too. I'd like to take the plunge and have some naked time on the beach, but want to make sure I take the right path. Looking at the satellite map; if you turn left, you're on DNR land. If you turn right; you're on federal land, but getting close to the World's Fair houses. Maybe I'll go over and explore in my trunks just to scout it out.
