C-strings are great. Use one in the garden since it's fairly open to some neighbors and saves everyone some awkwardness since they are not in favor of my outdoor nudity.

I live in Australia and I often go to the beach to sunbake nude of course there aren't any legal nude beaches near me but I still do it. If there are people around when I want to go for a swim I just wear a c string. Again it covers the right areas so as not to offend anyone.

With a c-string you maybe look like nude but you are not nude.

I wear a long and brightly coloured string vest, Carribean style. Oversized, but very like a dress when stretched to my thighs. Skin is almost entirely exposed to the sun, while the bright green color distracts the eye. I have cycled wearing nothing but the vest and shoes, for 20 miles to the beach, nobody even noticed. Of course, on a saddle, it folds discreetly in and nothing to offend is actually visible, even to the odd passing police cars

Dennelaan, To answer your question about where to buy a g-string in South Africa - you might find one for a man in a women's lingerie store or catalog.
I think you can make one that would hold all of easier and be comfortable to wear. Check online for how to make one OR contact me.
