Sunscreen question - mineral?
A better alternative to topical sunscreen is making sure youre getting plenty of antioxidants in your diet from FRESH FRUITS and VEGETABLES. The carotenoid #ASTAXANTHIN is particularly effective as an INTERNAL SUNSCREEN...against UV damage.

The rise in skin cancers over the last 25 years parallels the rise in use of sunscreen lotions, which block vitamin D-producing UVB radiation but not cancer-causing ultraviolet A radiation (UVA). (Newer sunscreen lotions also block out UVA.)

There havent been any large scale clinical trials on efficacy of ASX as of 2018. As for comparing mammalian physiology to plant physiology, before making such claims, you should look into plant biochemistry. Plants generate sinapate esters which act as a shield against UVR penetrating deeper into the plants structure. Mammals do not have this capability. Mammals also have a cell wall, rather than a cell membrane, so comparisons between animals and plants do not yield any significant correlation.
Also, UVB also plays the greatest role in skin cancer formation (not to mention sunburn). UVA causes premature skin aging, with fewer direct links to skin cancers. Again, do some research before posting misinformation.
Do some research on the #USgovt FDA before you treat their corporate peddling like Gospel truth. And remember the #USgovt that gives the FDA authority is the same govt that still makes nudity and naturism illegal in most places as if a peaceful human in her/his birthday suit is somehow more evil or harmful to oneself or others than a responsible person carrying their registered firearm in public.
I know Dr Ruwart also. I know a lot of doctors personally and went to school or worked with half of them.
