Naturists and nudists are people not their body parts
Seriously confused why we need groups focuses on body parts like Women Or Men Buttocks. What does that have to do with naturist or nudism. Nudists are people human beings and yet it has turned it just being about naked body parts instead of the people. I seriously dont get it. All that does is objectify people and feed the sexualization of the naked body disconnecting from naturism and nudism even more.
Seems some of us have forgotten that inside every naked body is a human being! Can we focus on that and get to know the human being the people.

I can somewhat see your point. But conversations like braless or small breast's, ect ... bring about conversation's that can and do help some people with body image issues. One young (to me) man stated he had concerns about his small penis and going out in public. I told him that not many of us are porn star sized, and recommended that he start looking at the profiles of other men here to see if he was really that small. He reported back that he had done as I suggested, and found that he was not smaller than the norm here. Another mind set at eez ;-)
I agree that people are people. We have spent most of our lives concentrating on the things we cant see and sexualizing them. As nudist, the mystery of what was once hidden by cloths, is now reviled. Now what is concealed are who we are as a person. Shedding clothing gets rid of the mundane. We dont have to wonder what he/she looks like naked. We can find out who they really are. But for me, I am overcoming stereotypes of what people have always believed to be under my clothes and in my head.

Ok I am all for that. Thats why we should have a group on body issues not a group where the sole purpose is to post pics of butts and a**holes or d**ks and vaginas.
I agree with your post completely...and the idea that overarches all is "nudity is about body acceptance and the freedom to enjoy it sans clothing"...and that's about it. We are not the sum of our parts but our parts are just a small portion of what makes us who we are.
Majority of the groups on here are obviously nothing more than a way of giving people some sort of perverted kick.These idiots are giving us genuine nudist a bad name.
Yeah think that is accurate especially the groups being created currently doesnt seem to be any moderation of the group creation process.
