Utilization of Profile "Likes"
I am curious if anyone else utilizes the Profile "Likes" feature the same way I do or if the way I use it is not consistent with the way the majority here uses it.
Like most other members (I assume), I often search members when I'm on the site to see who's logged in or may search members by any of the other sort criteria, and will then often look at a member profile for any number of reasons. When I come across a profile where the person has a great nudist outlook, says something that I agree with in a profile, seems to be a really true and open nudist, or possibly has a common interest or hobby I will usually "Like" the profile. I often use this feature because there may have been something else on that user's profile that indicates we might not be suited as friends - they don't like corresponding with people not local to them, a couple might not like conversing with a single, or any other number of reasons that aren't offensive to me personally but nonetheless indicates that a friend request would not be appropriate.
Does anyone else do this, or is there anything that could be misconstrued by "Liking" a profile but not corresponding any further or not sending a Friend Request? I have generally thought this might be an indication that I agreed with their comments or position as a nudist or that in some way I thought that this was a "cool" or worthwhile person. Does anyone actually review their own personal profile likes and respond to the person?
I've used this feature in lieu of sending the person a message because I think PMs can be overwhelming or possibly intrusive.
I would state that I rarely send Friend Requests because I'm not here to get numbers, and that I sometimes delete Friend Requests because someone is not open as a nudist and has limited and/or vague information or has such a high number of friends that they merely seem to be sending requests to people on-line. I'd also state I don't respond to my profile likes because I assume people are using this feature like me and didn't want to have any correspondence with me, but instead just wanted to voice an appreciate for an outlook I had on a given subject...
Am I doing this right or does anyone else use the feature differently or with different intentions?
Thanks for any observations,
Kevin

I use Profile "Likes" the same way as you, Kevin. Ditto with friend requests and PM messages I send and reply to.
Whether this is the consensus (or "right") way is probably anyone's guess :)
