RE:Unexpectedly Finding People You Know

We have found the opposite people who we have met at nude locations who didn't recognize us clothed

This happened to me, it took me a few hours to remember where we'd first met. It was at a car show at a resort.

RE:Unexpectedly Finding People You Know

Three different occasions, all fairly unremarkable, at the wave pool events hosted by our local group.

The first was a yoga instructor whose nude yoga class I had been aware of. We chatted, and I went to a few of her classes. Two photos in my profile are from her sessions.

The second was someone I'd met at a science fiction fan convention through mutual friends. At the wave pool she told me about her Naked Girls Reading group. I checked out one of their shows and am on their list for their annual Naked Guys Reading show.

The third was funny. A friend I hadn't seen in twenty years thought he'd recognized me at an earlier event, but didn't have his glasses on in the pool. This time I was hanging around the deck and he took a chance and introduced himself. I am glad he did, we spent a good hour catching up. It was funny to me because we talked about vinyl LPs and Star Trek and the blue convertible he used to drive, just like any conversation we ever had, except we were standing there naked surrounded by a hundred other naked people, which sounds like a New Yorker cartoon.

That's about it. Pretty ordinary if you ignore the national scandal and crazy non-stop sex that naturally ensued. LOL, just kidding. Meeting people at nude events is just like meeting people anywhere else, except neither of you has pockets.

I've always wanted to run into someone I knew, but haven't had that opportunity yet. I travel a lot for work so I'm usually away from home when visiting nudist places. I figure if I ever do, it shouldn't be awkward because we'd both be naked, and that's what we are both there for. Hopefully someday.

The funniest thing we had was when we were on vacation with my wifes parents. One day we decided to go our own way. They were going shopping and we were going to the beach. The nude beach was a few miles away and we were walking down the beach when we ran into them walking the beach clothed. The thing that most surprised us was that they were completely comfortable with us nude and they were surprised we didnt bring a cover up

Happened to me on the WNBR a few years back, don't think either of us were expecting the other to be at it at all!
Last summer while riding in the New Orleans WNBR I heard someone shout out "Hey that is my service guy from the car dealer" I don't know who it was but kind of freaked me out for a second but then I thought it was cool.

The first time I met a customer from my workplace at the nude beach it felt a little awkward. After a few minutes of chatting I was fine with it. Since then it has happened dozens of times, have made some new friendships and I am at the point that I actually look forward to it.
