S. A. D. that summer is officially over
Seasonal Affective Disorder. I suspect that many of the participants of this group are affected by this to some degree. I won't bore you with the details here, just google it. Its not as simple as "winter blues", it can be a real downer for many people.
Where I live the days are getting shorter along with less sun hours and less intense sun when we do have it. As for me, I need the sun and an unseasonably warm or bright sunny day is what keeps me going this time of year. Today is cold but suppose to get to mid 70s degree range so I'm hoping for some bright and naked backyard time later!
I am exactly the same!! Moved from Chicago to Phoenix to avoid the cold overcast snowy winters!! It has really changed my life! Thank you for bring this topic up! It is very common and some people use "Sun lights" during the winter to help them through!
Here in Phoenix I can be naked just about year round and it's always sunny!! Love it!
I feel that way at the end of every summer down under. But summer is just starting here now so you could always come here for a visit, lots of beaches, plenty of space and lots to see, it'll just take you a while to see it all.
All of you AZ people are making me jealous. Ive been to AZ for a week in June for 8 out of the last 10 years. Loved it every time. It was an annual work conference which has now ended which makes me a little sad. Great memories though and maybe a future vacation destination.
